COVID 19: WHAT MEASURES HAVE WE PUT IN PLACE TO PRTOCET OUR PATIENTS FROM CONTRACTING COVID-19?

Julia Šmigelskis Physiotherapy has implemented a stringent protocol to help limit the risk of anybody contracting Covid-19 at our premises. These measures include taking the temperature of any person who wants to enter the practice, detailed disinfection procedures and scheduling that ensures no more than one patient in the practice at any given time. Masks are to be worn throughout the appointment.

COVID 19: WHAT YOU CAN DO TO HELP LIMIT THE SPREAD OF COVID-19:

Please inform us before entering the practice if you show any Covid-19 related symptoms, such as fever, cough or a sore throat. 

You will be asked to complete a screening questionnaire before every visit and we kindly request that you bring your own pillow and towel to the appointment.

GENERAL: DO I NEED A DOCTOR’S REFERRAL FOR PHYSIOTHERAPY?

In South Africa, physiotherapists are first line practitioners, so you do NOT need a referral. However, some medical aid plans require a referral for you to get reimbursed. Kindly contact your medical aid for more information.

GENERAL: WHAT PAYMENT METHODS ARE ACCEPTED?

If you are on a medical aid with a savings plan, we can claim from your medical aid directly, medical aid fees apply.

Private patients will receive an invoice via email following the appointment. Please settle the invoice via eft. The rates displayed on the booking page apply.
